Sr. Togg Does

Lis-si

Toggenburg goats are also from the Swiss Alps. They have a set pattern of different shade of chocolate with white leg and face markings.  Generally smaller than Alpines with basically no attitude.  Very sweet doe’s. Nice to breed with the Nigerian’s as they tend to be easier for the bucks to breed. Color comes into play on the offspring of the mini-Togg. They have to be of the correct color of the Togg by the 3rd generation. I’m in the “playing” stage with them. To my knowledge there are only 7 or 8 mini-Togg breeders in the US and as an example my mini’s that were registered this year have the #’s of only 28 and 29. So you see how new this breed is. I welcome more Toggenburg people to help develop this breed. BACK
